Sephora July Wishlist

I'm coming at you with a list of some goodies from Sephora I'd love to get my hands this month! As I'm sure almost every person on Earth knows, Sephora is basically a makeup lovers Wonderland. They have so much to choose from. I lose my mind when I go into the store, always so overwhelmed and in love with the product, not to mention I lose whatever was in my bank account.

This month I decided to chose some random items I've been eyeballing for a while now.

Let's take a took!

Tartelette in Bloom Palette $45 | Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette $54
These palettes are stunning. I've been crazy over the Tartelette in Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette in particular, for so long now. The colors blow me away and the best thing about them is that they will compliment pretty much every skin tone and eye color. I mean you can always make it work, just remember that. If you wanna rock a certain color, do it!

Makeup is all about expression so don't ever feel like you're "not allowed" to wear a particular color or shade. You do you, boo.

The other palette is the very popular Naked Smoky by Urban Decay. If you're looking for something to help you perfect your smoky-eye, this is for you. Be sure to go to your local Sephora and try the colors out before you dish out the $54. I'm sure you'll fall in love all over again.

T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand $270 | Too Faced Love Flush Blush $26 | Bite Beauty Matte Lip Crayon $24
These next few products are just some random beauties I ran into on the Sephora website. I was instantly intrigued by the design of the T3 Whirl Trio Styling Wand. I've always been into the idea of an interchangeable curler. I know it's not necessarily a new concept but it is still a brilliant one. It's a bit pricey at $270 but I'd say it's worth it. It's made with a ceramic PTC heater that self regulates temperature to prevent over and under-heating, giving you the perfect curler basically.

Too Faced has the cutest packaging! The idea of a heart shaped blush makes me smile...and also makes me want to buy one. I've always been a sucker for packaging. If the design is nice, I'll usually try at least one product from the line. I'm really liking the colors Baby Love and Love Hangover.

I've posted about the Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons before. The formula is wonderful. The scent is lovely and for the quality of the product, $24 is a pretty reasonable price. This month I've fawning over the shade Amaretto.

Flowerbomb Extreme by Viktor & Rolf $135 | Pour Femme Intense by Dolce & Gabbana $97
I'm not gonna lie...I have an addiction to collecting perfume. Mainly because of the design of the bottles (I told you I'm a sucker for packaging!) but also because I like having options when I go to grab a perfume to wear for the day.

I went through my 1.7oz. bottle of the original Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb in an embarrassingly short amount of time. It is definitely in my top three all time favorite scents. I can't get enough! This is the Flowerbomb Extreme. It's bigger, badder, sister. It smells divine. Two thumbs up to Viktor & Rolf, they are doing it right.

I first discovered this Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense at my friend's house when I walked into her room and thought I was in heaven. I've never owned my own bottle but if I did there's a possibility it would reach my top five favorite perfumes. Like I said guys, I honestly can't get enough.

Perfume is the perfect way to express what you're feeling for the day. From something sexy and fierce to something soft and sweet. You can smell like whatever you want. Embrace it! Find a scent you like and make it your signature.

Thank you so much for reading my post today. Make sure to follow my blog so you can be updated when I put up something new! Leave a comment telling me what you're all time favorite perfume is. I'd love to hear some recommendations. I hope you enjoyed!

Stay brilliant world.

Floral Frenzy

It has been a quick minute since I've made a post here on my KJR Beauty Blog but I'm happy to be back and I'm so excited to share my new ideas with you all! I went on a small hiatus from blogging for a couple of reasons. If I'm being honest the biggest reason was that life got busy and I got lazy. Constantly thinking of things to write about can be difficult! No more excuses from me though. I've decided if something I want to write about pops into my head, I will surely write about it. But I'm still going to do my daily routines and live life to it's fullest.

If you're new to my blog, welcome! I hope you take a peek around and like what you see. There's a lot more to come.

Let's get to the whole reason as to why you clicked this post. Let's talk about floral!

Floral patterns are everywhere! I think floral prints are the perfect way to combine an innocence feel, classiness, and being chic all in one. You can choose a floral print in just about any color. That's the great thing about it. If you're not so much of a fuchsia pink kinda girl, there are a ton of other colors to pick from. I included pictures of different prints that I like. Some are darker and some are lighter! Feel free to use them as inspiration when finding a pattern you like.

I personally find myself gravitating towards darker floral, just because it's so easy to match!

The watch shown below by Olivia Burton is stunning. I fell in love the second I saw it. It you're new to adding patterns into your wardrobe, trying accessories is a great way to start.

If it wasn't obvious enough, floral arrangements themselves are a fun way to incorporate a fresh and youthful feel into your home. Making your own arrangements can be loads of fun and make for some very cute table pieces.

Probably the easiest way to have a little floral in your life is by wearing clothing with the print. I'm a big fan of navy blue and pink prints. Right now is the best time to be wearing the pattern! Summertime means sundresses, crop tops, shorts, swimwear, and so much more. All being wonderful candidates for floral print.

Phone and computer accessories look beautiful with a pattern. I mean who doesn't love flowers? I have my eyes on the "be kind" phone case shown in the picture above.

Get ready for summer by trying out these two DIY's for some floral fun!

Designs by Nicolina has a wonderful DIY up about how to make your very own Floral Minnie/Mickey Ears. Check it out here! It's such an adorable spin on the already cute ears.

This second DIY has steps on how to make Paper Mache Letters with faux flowers. The original post is not written in english but has everything translated to english right below each post. So make sure to take a look at it and try it out for yourself. Personalized letters are always fun to make and a great way to release some creativity.

Thank you so much for reading through my post. Sorry for the overuse of the words floral, pattern, and print. It can be hard to find other ways to describe it. Ha ha! I had a blast writing this for you guys and I'll be back soon with some new and creative material.

Make sure to follow my blog so you'll be updated when I post something new. Leave a comment telling me what your favorite flower is or if you prefer something else! I personally love sunflowers. They are beautiful and remind me of being young and full of adventure for some reason. I've loved them since I was a little kid.

Stay brilliant world.
